Fresh Muslim Fashion Ideas for 2013

The New Year brings with it a fresh chance to reinvent yourself. Many people’s New Year resolutions revolve around the opportunity to mould themselves into the form they want to be. Whether that is through self-help routines or appearance alterations, it is up to the individual. The latter is very simple to do with a little help from Islamic Fashion.

Starting from the top, literally, a fresh prayer hat can really kick start a new look. If you are feeling confident then a fresh and totally new colour can be sought in the hat. Eschewing the tired black and white tones, allow yourself to experience something new. Colours such as olive and dark red look set to be incredibly fashionable whilst retaining a sense of modesty. The prayer hat is a vital part of Islamic Fashion and faith.

A crisp new Jubba can offset almost any look, style and occasion. Worn for both formal and informal occasions, the Jubba is as versatile as it is comfortable. Using the same colour pallet but a different tone to the prayer hat, a consistent look can be created without appearing like a large single block of colour. One of the useful side-benefits of the Jubba is the manner in which they complement a wide range of Muslim Dresses.
The New Year is the perfect time to bring in a new signature scent. One of the quintessential masculine acts is to find a signature scent and stick with it for years. It can serve as a calming influence for your children or wife. The scent reminds them of you and the love you bestow upon them. From the classic old spice of the 1970s and 80s to modern classic like Ralph Lauren; each generation has had a signature scent. Tom Ford and Paco Rabanne are two of the most popular up-and-coming scent designers of the decade.

Complement your Hijab

One of the most difficult balancing tricks in Islamic Clothing is finding fashion that perfectly and unobtrusively complements your Hijab. The Hijab should be worn with pride and should be centrepiece of your outfit. The first and more boring way to do that would be to dress the rest of the body in dull, drab clothing and wear an eye catching Hijab. However, the more fun and aesthetically pleasing way to signify the Hijab is using clothing that creates a consistent look and perfectly complements the Hijab.

If you have chosen a patterned Hijab then matching it with trousers is a striking effect. Floral effect trousers and matching Hijab creates a look that dazzles with elegant beauty. Separated by a Muslim Dress of a different colour or pattern, the matching Hijab and trousers creates consistency without a blocky appearance. Floral trousers are most effective when loose fitting. This creates a natural and airy appearance throughout the outfit.

The long flowing look of Hijabs sits perfectly atop a maxi dress. The maxi dress has for decades been a mainstay of the fashion world. Modest and classy; the maxi dress is as comfortable a form of fashion as any available. Contrasting colours that complement each other will create a consistent flow throughout the outfit.

It is vitally important to have a wide range of different Hijabs. The contemporary Muslim woman needs outfits that are suitable for a wide range of different events with differing moods and aims. Different Hijab styles can represent a wide range of different emotions and personalities. More formal occasions require the most sombre of appearances and a plain, regal coloured Hijab is most effective. Whereas informal occasions are best served with a Hijab adorned with a fun, exciting pattern. Express your personality perfectly with a personalised Hijab.

Using Summer Islamic Clothing in Winter

When back in April we were treated to uncharacteristically warm weather; many of us thought we were due a lengthy, barmy summer of sun and glorious heat. This momentary lack of judgement led a lot of us to rush out and stock up on summer clothing to make the most of the seemingly promised warmth. These clothes have probably spent the last six months collecting dust in the back of the wardrobe. It seems that the opportunity to wear these garments won’t present itself for at least another six month. Fortunately here are a few tips to get the most out of the money you invested and include the items in your winter wardrobe.

Layers are vitally important in winter; the more layers you are wearing, the more warmth you will retain. Use those summer t shirts to add extra layers and warmth. When they are covered by a multitude of different layers of Islamic Clothing it does not matter what motifs or design they adorn.

Likewise summer dresses can be worn on top of thick tights and underneath thick Muslim dresses. This follows the same warmth in layers logic as t shirts. Cut-off denim shorts were at the height of fashion during the summer but will see their popularity fade significantly now in the summer months. Add extra warmth by wearing denim shorts underneath a Muslim Dress.

Sandals are solely used in the summer months due to the exposed feet that they induce. One of the staples of the summer wardrobe; sandals and flips flops are seemingly rendered useless from September to May. However it is possible to get some wear out of them in the winter months. Leaving them by the back door allows you to slip them on for the quick trip to the bin when taking out the bin bags. This means that you will not have to get your slippers dirty.

For women, the Islamic clothing is slightly different and will cover a larger portion of the body than men's clothing. Detailed in the Qur'an, women are not to expose their legs or torsos when in a public place. Only the face and hands can be exposed and when prayers take place, a khimar must be worn. A burqua will always be worn by a female and if you want to express your style even more, you should purchase Jubba Islamic clothing.
